What You Will Contribute:

Software Quality Engineer provides product support/sustaining engineering with minimal oversight. The includes but is not limited to performing product and design verification tests, assisting with defining test plans and production implementations, and participating on project teams.
Job Duties:
  • Provide regular status updates to SQA Lead.
  • Develop and execute test cases/test scripts from requirements, use-cases, design documents and other project documentation. Lead the definition of needed automated testing for complex features and products.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of product functionality in order to evaluate and ensure product operations during test cycles.
  • Work with defect tracking systems for bug resolutions.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of the test automation systems
  • Implement automation of moderate to difficult test cases
  • Define and direct the setup of test networks and other computer systems.
  • Travel to customer sites for product testing and investigation as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required with a background in Software Testing preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical Skills – Must have a natural curiosity and ability to analyze data
  • Problem Solving – Ability to present multiple solutions to identify problems
  • Ability to demonstrates a high level of attention to details of documentation and process
  • Adaptability – Ability to adapt to changing priorities
