The End User Computing Engineer will have responsibility for the development, design, and implementation of enterprise scale systems for company-issued desktop and laptop systems, as well as Azure resources that include virtual machines.

The successful candidate will:

· Provide technical research for change, maintenance, and enhancement to existing technologies as well as implementation of new technologies and end user devices.

· Be responsible for building and deploying images for Windows 10/11 systems.

· Have strong experience in Microsoft endpoint management and administration.

· Collaborate with other teams to ensure operations strategy and architecture are effectively designed and integrated.

· Demonstrate experience with administration of Microsoft Intune, including configuration, troubleshooting, and access rights management.

· Audit and analyze data to ensure processes are followed and standards are maintained.

· Provide documentation for Help Desk ticketing and solution processes.

· Demonstrate skillsets related to Windows systems and software along with configuration management and O365 operations.

· Have practical knowledge of Azure and virtual resource management.

This position will also provide L3 desktop support and be responsible for providing technical support for our internal customer base through our Service Desk platform.

Primary Responsibilities

· Define and document processes and standards for Help Desk, infrastructure, as well as configuration update deployment schedules

· Qualify new hardware/software, coordinate package releases, and endpoint protection

· Analyze business requirements and design/document detailed, aggressive testing strategies that are in accordance with the Quality Assurance department's standards

· Automate and enable maintenance and rote activities to drive efficiencies

· Define standards for end-user devicesRequired Skills and Technologies

· Azure Active Directory

· Systems Management (i.e. Intune, Altiris, BigFix, SCCM, etc.)

· Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Solutions, PowerShell, MDT

· Software packaging, configuration management, task management, and deployment

· Azure Virtual Machine resource management

· Technical documentation skills

· PC Networking skills

· Analyst skills

· Solid customer service skills

· Ability to follow detailed instructions

· Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and help solve problems for end users

· Technical knowledge and skills as required for the position

· MCP, MTA, MCSA certifications – preferred

· SolarWinds Service Desk experience – preferred

· Familiarity with Keeper Security PAM – is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s, Technical degree, or certifications in related field or equivalent experience

· 3 or more years of work experience in a sysadmin or systems engineering role

· Experience in endpoint management: install, support, configure, evaluate, maintain, monitor, and analyze systems and software for and PC devices.

· Experience with application upgrades, security patching, and platform updates

· Must possess good problem-solving skills

· Understanding of hardware and software dependencies

· The ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements

· Good verbal/written communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong team player who can work across multiple functional areas and disciplines

· Capability to understand the application portfolio of automotive dealerships, in particular the dealer management system (DMS) and its relationship to warranty processing function.

· Familiarity with ITIL concepts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
