Trion is seeking an Employee Benefits Administrator. The Employee Benefits Administrator is responsible for the customer service for all new clients and their worksite employees in relationship to Benefits on the Trion Solutions platform. Working hand in hand with Trion Solution’s agents, brokers and the sales team, the Employee Benefits Administrator will often communicate as well with various departments within Trion Solutions to provide our clients and worksite employees with an exceptional customer experience. Through proven techniques and written procedures, the Employee Benefits Administrator will guide the client through the entire benefit set up throughout the relationship with Trion Solutions. This role will assist in helping to ensure that processes support and adhere to current laws, and regulations.

Responsibility #1-Benefit Department Support/Administration

· Collect, compile, and create client files to include cost sheets, plan choices, correspondences and enrollment material

· Create and manage client and employee files in our HRIS systems (daily)

· Provide benefit checklist to COBRA administrator to send compliance documentation for COBRA by the established due date

· Updating various carrier with enrollment data as needed

· Creation of custom employee benefits packets or other methods

· Creation of custom client election sheets with all client’s employees and internal employee costs to ensure everyone has a complete understanding of the new client

· Run new hire and termination reports, as well as other eligibility reports as necessary for each client

· Compile and send new hire employee packets

· May assist with the performance of monthly audits

· Run ACA reports as requested by clients

· Assist client’s employees and employee with enrollment material

· Assist with employee deduction setup as needed

· Ensuring appropriate employee dependents set up within the carrier system

· Verify payrolls prior to processing, work directly with payroll processor on each account as needed

· Ensuring Trion and our clients maintain the highest level of compliance in all areas

· Discussions and meetings with other internal departments relating to benefits, 401k, HR and accounting

Responsibility #2- Client Relations

· Communicate with key client personnel both verbally, and in written form, to understand the client’s expectations of plans and set up, processes and procedures

· Immediately responds to all client inquiries regarding Benefits within 24 hours of receipt.

· Exceed all client expectations

Responsibility #3- Government Regulations

· Follows all state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

· Protects the company from liability and exposure.

Responsibility #4- Personal Development

· Keeps up to date on changes to benefit law/regulations and state and federal law through continuing education and publications.

· Continues to learn and grow as a Benefits professional through continuing education.

· Completes all mandatory training by established deadline.

· Share ideas that will help you and/or the company grow.

· Additional job duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
