Job Overview:
The Emergency Room Tech assumes responsibility for assisting with the implementation of supportive nursing care under the direction of the RN.
General Responsibilities:
- Duties as assigned to include but not limited to: clerical, courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG’s.
- Phlebotomy and specific patient care duties
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times
- Other duties as assigned including departmental and/or facility based
Qualifications:
High School Education or GED equivalent.- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS upon hire
- CPI within 6 months.
- Florida EMT License, National EMT License, Medical Assistant, or CNA License.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
Previous experience preferred.
