Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians (TECP) is a physician-owned, democratic group providing the highest quality in emergency care in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for experienced full-time Advanced Care Providers to join our group of over 50 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Our full-time position is for 130 hours per month with a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts. Post-graduate fellowship in EM or 1+ year of experience as a provider in the emergency department required.

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, TECP currently employs over 50 physicians and APP’s (both nurse practitioners and physician assistants). We staff 4 of MultiCare’s campuses. Tacoma General and Allenmore, located in Tacoma just 36 miles south of Seattle, Covington Hospital, located 25 miles northeast of Tacoma and 31 miles from Seattle, and Federal Way Off-Campus ED, a standalone ED 23 miles south of Seattle and 12 miles north of Tacoma. Tacoma is the heart of the Puget Sound Metropolitan area. The city itself rests on the shores of Commencement Bay and the Puget Sound and between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. This allows for easy access to skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities. Tacoma is within a few hours of some of the world’s best wineries.
