Job Summary
Fan Controlled Sports & Entertainment is looking for an experienced marketer with email expertise who will oversee the creation and delivery of multi-channel digital campaigns. We’re looking for an experienced email developer who shares our passion for sports and web3 and wants to join us in adding enthusiasm to the team as we continue to bring Fan Controlled Sports to more users globally.
The right candidate will be data-driven, with proven experience developing custom email templates, utilizing HTML/CSS, and user journeys. This role is responsible for campaign creation, email html development, requesting creative elements, audience segmentation, & designing marketing campaigns with a focus on achieving retention and reactivation KPIs.
Responsibilities
  • Build/Test new and maintain existing campaigns, automations & journeys that support growth KPIs
  • Lead and assist in customer journey mapping and design of marketing automation campaigns
  • Create and edit emails and other digital assets using HTML & CSS
  • Own digital marketing campaign processes: gather requirements, request for creative elements, design audience segments, data tagging and personalization tokens, create marketing automation workflows, deliver communications, and report on results.
  • Oversee the development of highly customized marketing campaigns that provide fans with key stats such as fan iq gained, vote results, and leaderboard movement
  • Work with creative team to develop thoughtful and effective designs for user communications.
  • Ongoing development of technical and design skills pertaining to the creation and execution of email and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Create reports for measuring campaign performance.
  • Support the email + SMS strategy and overall CRM roadmap by enabling testing strategies around creative, messaging and segmentation to optimize overall customer outreach and performance
  • Own the Retention KPI’s and work on retention and loyalty tactics
  • Apply a strong understanding of new tools and marketing software, and have the desire and ability to create best in class marketing comms for FCSE using the right technology and features

Experience
  • 1-3 years of lifecycle email marketing or multi-channel CRM experience, ideally in consumer business
  • Proven track record of developing email templates from scratch
  • HTML/CSS coding experience is required
  • Attention to detail, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, desire to learn new technologies, communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms required. Experience with Braze is a plus
  • Experience with personalization and liquid logic is a plus.
  • Copy Writing and/or Design experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • A strong understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem and a good grasp of what role each piece of technology plays.
  • B2C industry experience preferred.
