In the developer role, you will create outlines and self-directed, hands-on instructions for technical training materials that help people get jobs, keep jobs, and improve their lives. The skills gap in industry is real – great paying jobs go vacant because applicants don’t have the skills needed. You’ll find us in colleges, vocational schools, high schools and industry alike. Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with engineering and publication teams to create training outlines for new or updated existing products.
• Work with assigned technical writers who will transform your outline into a fully refined training system.
• Research concepts and new topic areas as new projects are added – and we have a lot of projects!
• Track projects and generate reports as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Technology (Required)
• Industrial electrical experience: 8 years (Preferred)
• Industrial electrical, mechanical, and/or automation experience: 5 years (Required)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills (Required)

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree (Preferred)
• Instructional design background (Preferred)
