Position: Electrical Engineer

We are an established, continuously growing, ISO 9001:2015, Columbiana County OH company, incorporated in 1995, with an A+ BBB rating, that engages in the following in-house work:

· Industrial Contracting

· Structural Fabrications (AISC Accredited)

· Pressure Fabrications (ASME BVPC U, UM, R stamps)/Pipe B31.3, B31.8, API 1104/Mechanical Fabrications)

· Original Equipment Design and Manufacturing

· Professional Engineering Services

Electrical Engineer Job Duties for Customer and Company Products and Projects:

• Design and programming of HMI and PLC control systems
• Design and commissioning of AC drive systems

3. Create one-line diagrams for electrical instrumentation and controls applications

4. Create one-line diagrams for low power distribution applications

5. Utilize AutoCAD for creation of electrical layout drawings and schematics

6. Create and review documents for compliance with NEC provisions

7. Create electrical permit packages for submittal(s) to local jurisdictions as required

8. Create technical specifications as needed

9. Manage projects (PM) as directed, while adhering to project milestones and deadlines

10. Create budgets, set up schedules, and maintain scheduling updates utilizing Microsoft Project

11. Daily interface and assistance with Company Drafting and Fabrication departments, from commencement, through final QC validation and Factory Acceptance Testing of jobs

12. Create Bill of Materials for all required electrical items and issue purchase orders for said items.

General Requirements:

1. Pass pre-employment and random drug tests

2. Strong analytical skills (competency test is required)

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

4. Excellent written and verbal communications

5. Excellent computer skills (competency test is required)

6. Dependable and a team player

7. Average of 47–50-hour weeks

Technical Requirements:

1. Established technical background in Electrical Engineering, concentration in design and programming. Minimal 3 years’ experience

2. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

3. PE license, or EI designation, with track towards licensure

Pay:

1. Depending on experience and qualification(s): $80,000-$120,000 salary plus a robust profit-sharing plan

2. Eligible sign on bonus from $5,000-$6,500 (5% of first year salary)

Travel Requirements: Occasional visits (1-2 times/month) to various job sites and customer offices, typically located within 120 miles of New Waterford, OH.
