Position Description:
The individual accepting this position will assist in oversight of the EL program as it seeks to provide equal access to academic success for all students whose first language is not English. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, knowledgeable about Dual Immersion Programs, and able to successfully support students in developing speaking and reading skills in English and Spanish.
Special Requirements:
1. Valid Oregon teaching license with appropriate subject endorsement.
2. Bilingual/Fluent in Spanish required.
3. Valid first aid card.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Knowledge of ELD issues and methodology.
6. Formal and informal education or training sufficient to perform job.
7. Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices for all students. A dedication to their own professional growth and that of their staff and community in congruence with the district equity policy.

This position is 1.0 FTE and will support students in two locations: Oregon City High School and Gardiner Middle School
