As the Education Programs Coordinator, you will organize and participate in annual onboarding and offboarding activities for trainees and outside rotators, including privileging, licensing, IT training, fit testing and Health screenings while producing reports to monitor.

You will stay current on policies and procedures to complete assignments and projects within defined guidelines and make appropriate recommendations. In this role you will ensure that administrative and financial operations are compliant with accreditation standards, University policy and other regulatory requirements. The coordinator will maintain databases for budgets and business-related expenditures and prepares reports on these. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating on recruitment, orientation and onboarding/offboarding
  • Events such as receptions, conferences, education lectures, Grand Rounds and the annual year-end event
  • Perform special projects assigned
  • Responsible for managing training verifications
  • Serving as one of two Department Parking Coordinators for technology programs/applications

Salary range: $24.81-$52.11 Hourly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience/training – preferred
  • Ability to use office equipment such as: personal computer, calculator, phone, photocopier, fax, scanner, printer, etc., to sit for extended periods of time and to lift 15 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively with others by sharing information and ideas in a constructive and positive manner, listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from them, keeping commitments and others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; and addressing problems in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to design, modify, and generate spreadsheets, create formulas, modify formats and run various reports in Excel
  • Demonstrated skill in financial analysis, planning, preparation and administration of a budget
  • Excellent written communication skills to accurately compose and edit letters, memos and other correspondence using proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax
  • Working knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of relevant University policies and procedures on health professions education and regulatory requirements, and the ability to process actions required to establish various academic personnel and payroll related transactions in the online UCPath system, I-9 Tracker, BruinBuy, Radiology Purchasing Portal, Travel Express/Concur – preferred
  • Working knowledge of the various benefit programs offered through the University – preferred
