The Economic Support Program Manager works with the Economic and Family Support Services Director in program design and implementation of internal procedures to ensure smooth, timely and compliant program operation. This position is based in Sieda's main office in Wapello County. Develops, monitors and upgrades appropriate program procedures in order to provide and maintain the organized and efficient completion of all energy program responsibilities. Responsible for the training, supervision and on-going evaluation of all supervised staff in Sieda's 7 Resource Centers. Develop, monitor and update as necessary, program specific guidelines designed to provide and maintain an organized delivery of client services. The Economic Support Program Manager is responsible for overseeing, amending and managing the budgets of the Economic Support Services programs. May represent the program at State meetings and with other agencies or organizations. May Interact with major funding sources including LIHEAP, LIHWAP, and independent providers. Under the supervision of the Economic and Family Support Services Director, establishes and maintains a good working relationship with all agencies, organizations, governmental bodies, funding sources and contractors with whom Sieda works to serve the needs of the citizens within Sieda’s service area. May be required to administer new or temporary programs as assigned. Travel is required both in and outside the service area. Proof of auto insurance and valid driving license is required.

FORMAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires completion of a BA degree in business, public administration, human services or a related field combined with a
minimum of 2 years of experience in the areas of program operations and employee supervision.
OR
Requires completion of AA degree or a 2-year certificate in a related field combined with a minimum of 5 years of
experience in the areas of program operations and employee supervision.

Applicants must also have the ability to work in a highly confidential setting and be able to understand, learn, and adapt to new technology. A strong understanding of budgets and managing the finances of a program is required. Employment is contingent upon the a criminal background check including a registry check of past/current founded child abuse.

Salary range for this position is $40,800 - $48,000/year and is commensurate with education and experience.
