What You’ll Do

The E-Commerce Specialist supports the Direct-to-Consumer team by taking responsibility for the operation optimization of the shopping experience and resulting sales growth on Munchkin.com. The E-Commerce Specialist will work cross-functionally with other teams to develop and execute key merchandising initiatives, strategies, and business priorities.

  • Own the development of site merchandising strategies and their day-to-day execution
  • Optimize the user experience, monitor performance and propose improvements in both design and functionality
  • Identify and execute upon opportunities for optimization of site search, product data, product sorting, filters/facets, product recommendations, up-sells/cross-sells, product taxonomy, and content strategies
  • Establish an SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic and work with cross-functional partners to execute
  • Identify and track KPIs, utilize data-driven analysis and collaborate with cross-functional partners to inform decision-making processes and actionable reports
  • Work closely with the E-Commerce team on ensuring the successful coordination and launch of new and refreshed products
  • Manage the merchandising calendar to schedule website content updates and organize support for digital marketing efforts; oversee planning of calendar, working with cross functional teams to ensure deliverables are on schedule
  • Monitor product category performance to identify areas with opportunity for growth or improvement
  • Prioritize strategies and projects to maximize impact and accelerate sales growth on Munchkin.com
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to improve the customers’ shopping and post-purchase experience on Munchkin.com
  • Track changes in product assortment and ensure changes are reflected during site preparations
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy of product data and promotional content as well as taking responsibility for correcting and facilitating any fixes
  • Proactively escalate any website issues and assist in logging/scoping out JIRA tickets
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, solutions and strategies for web merchandising, ecommerce operations, and SEO
  • Provide administrative support for the E-Commerce team as needed

Bring It!

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Ecommerce or related field
  • Good product sensibility and ability to merchandise sites in a visually appealing way; understanding of IT implications, ecommerce ecosystem and multi-channel environment
  • Demonstrates strong logical, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and new technology; able to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Photoshop and other design or web development tools is beneficial
  • Must have strong Excel skills (vlookups, nested IF functions, PivotTables, data wrangling)
  • Experience with ecommerce CMS systems is required; experience with Magento 2 is a plus
  • Team-oriented with ability to collaborate with partners across functions and levels
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required; a thirst for learning and success
