Essential Functions
The Early College and Community Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of K-12 related school engagement and programming with schools in the Omaha metro area, assisting high school students with the transition between high school and college, and serving as the community liaison for the Learn and Earn program. The Early College and Community Coordinator will develop and deliver programming to build awareness of IT related education and professional opportunities.
Manage all K-12 program activities including but not limited to the overall supervision and scheduling of instructors/facilitators; scheduling and resourcing daily activities; liaising with schools, instructors/facilitators, and the Assistant Dean of Student Success. Serves as a point of contact for our partners (businesses, participants, community partners). Assess the effectiveness of programing activities. Engage with high school seniors towards their future college and career plans. Work with the Student Success team to develop and deliver a college transition programming in the summer months for high school students. Build and maintain community relationships and student experiences for the Learn and Earn program.

Work Schedule
M-F 8-5; Some evenings and weekends may be required

Additional Duties

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience working with youth and college-aged students
  • Master’s Degree
