Bright Start Academy in Overland is looking for an Assistant Director to join our management team! The Assistant Director works with the Center Director to oversee daily operations of our Nationally Accredited Preschool and Child Care Center.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director will include, but are not limited to: scheduling and staffing, assisting staff in the development of individual goals for professional growth, curriculum implementation, modeling a positive attitude towards children and professional interactions with parents, and accurate record keeping. The Assistant Director also ensures that the facility is run in accordance with company policies and stays in compliance with all state licensing and National Accreditation standards. The ideal candidate for this position has excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service with exemplary confidence and strategic thinking, and the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

-At least 24 hours of college coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

·-Experience in childcare center management is preferred, but not required.

·-Experience working in a State licensed Early Childhood Center.

-Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic computer skills.

-Must meet Missouri State requirements and pass all background checks

Experience:

• Early Childhood General Education Teachers: 1 year (Preferred)
