About the Role

Goop is looking for a talented Ecommerce Manager to manage the product experience to contribute to revenue and conversion goals specifically focused on Amazon. The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for establishing and strengthening our presence on Amazon by engaging in Seller Central to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, featured product placement, and eCommerce shopping experiences to identify growth opportunities. Success in this role requires a self-starter mindset, high degree of ownership, drive, and the ability to leverage data in support of making site merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing day-to-day FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) operations including but not limited to creating & monitoring active listings, "Buy Box" ownership, product ranking, inventory management, and preparing shipments, to enhance goop's presence on Amazon.com
  • Manage all products, including setting up new product listings, product descriptions, technical features, product imagery, pricing, options and optimizing product detail pages for maximum conversion.
  • Manage & optimize goop's Amazon storefront page to drive sales and conversion.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment. Communicate with the warehouse to ensure all orders are fulfilled and shipped accurately and in a timely manner, while complying with FBA vendor requirements.
  • Maintain & monitor product reviews and customer feedback to ensure a high Seller Rating, Customer Feedback Scores, and Account Health, and to provide a continuous feedback loop to product development team.
  • Resolve product pages challenges by opening support cases, and work with legal team to monitor product catalog for counterfeits and resellers.
  • Build and maintain reporting for Amazon business, including sales, returns, fees, and related items.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and competitor analysis.
  • Analyze new testing opportunities for the site modules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive Amazon Seller Central experience
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, make timely decisions, anticipate problems and adjust as landscapes shift
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while shifting priorities
  • Strong execution skills and ability to "get the job done"
  • Forward-thinking, resourceful, and intellectually curious with the ability to work across different departments
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive, coupled with a passion for technology and innovation
  • Team-oriented, collaborative worker while still being able to work independently
  • Comfortable with solving for both business and customer challenges

FAQ

  • Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 + Equity. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
