Are you an experienced draftsman looking for a new opportunity? APH Marine Construction is seeking a talented young professional with exceptional skills in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Midjourney, ChatGPT, 3D printers, and other cutting-edge technologies to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating scaled construction drawings of waterfront improvements such as seawalls, docks, and boatlifts. You'll also create structural building details, plan views, project renderings, equipment and tool prototypes, barge construction drawings, physical models, and displays. You'll be responsible for assembling project presentations, and collaborating with engineers and project managers.

To be successful in this position, you'll need to have experience working with SketchUp and AutoCAD, creating detailed 2D and 3D models, and using Photoshop to create photorealistic renderings of your designs. You'll also need experience working with 3D printers and other prototyping tools to create physical models and equipment prototypes.

In addition to your technical skills, you'll also need strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills are also a must, as you'll be working with engineers, project managers, and other team members to bring projects to completion.

Some specific skills we're looking for include:

• Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD for creating detailed 2D and 3D models
• Experience using Photoshop to create photorealistic renderings
• Knowledge of 3D printing and other prototyping tools for creating physical models and equipment prototypes
• Strong problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills for working with team members and stakeholders
