Attendants watching the fur babies needed for Doggie Day Care Camp (6012 Telegraph Rd in Oakville)

We are very busy and need to add another Day Care Attendant to our staff, hopefully you got what it takes !!!!!

A fun, family owed Doggie Day Care "Cage FREE" facility is looking for the right person to join are team. This position requires someone who is a self-starter, knowledgeable about dogs and has a desire to play and have fun with many dogs daily. This position is for 30+ hours a week Monday - Friday, including some Saturday's. We are closed on Sunday's. Being a leader and having managements skills is diffidently a plus.

Candidates MUST HAVE the following criteria in order to be considered:

- AT LEAST 1 year of experience working with dogs either at a Doggie Day Care, veterinarian clinic or rescue/shelter
- dependable, on time to work and trustworthy
- must be able to read dog body language and take care of dogs in a large free-roaming pack environment
- must be able to tell when problems between dogs may occur, then stop them immediately
- ability to maintain a safe and clean environment for the dogs (poop scooping)
- ability to manage safe play groups for dogs
- comfortable around large and small dogs
- MUST BE DOG LOVERS

This position requires working directly with the dogs, cleaning when needed, standing and moving around on your feet all day with the pack.
