Job description

The Document Controller is in charge of the final preparation, control, and the daily management of documents for all export shipments in the Company.

Their typical activities include:

• Printing, collating, stamping, signing, and couriering export documentation to overseas banks for payment and collection
• Quality & compliance checks on documents
• Filing and organization of documents (both electronic and / or hardcopies)
• Control over documentation modification, distribution, issuance (as per procedure) during its whole lifecycle
• Maintenance of a list (register) of applicable documents
• Progress reporting on the documents status / maintaining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• The employee may be assigned to ad hoc special projects to help achieve business goals which may vary from time to time as determined by management

Schedule / Hours:

• The ideal candidate will work M-Fr 9am - 5pm, but we will consider applicants looking to work from M-Fr 9am - 1pm
• This role is in-person. It does not accomodate remote work

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
