Amazon DSP Dispatcher/Manager

Looking for self motivated individual with flexible schedule to handle day to day operations for an Amazon DSP.

Qualifications for Job:

* No experience necessary although prior delivery or logistics experience will be appreciated.

* Prior managerial positions or leadership skills are encouraged.

* Must have open availability to work 30-40 hours per week including weekends.

* Shifts consist of morning diapatch 9:30am-3:30pm. Evening shifts 3:30pm-9:30pm.

*Must be willing to train at the desk on the computer and in the field which will consist of training with drivers in Brooklyn to understand use and functionality of the delivery device (cell phone) and to experience on road issues that you will need to trouble shoot from the desk in the future.

Job Responsibilities:

* Pack drivers bags in mornings with supplies such as phone, charging wire, portable charger, gas card, and ez-pass.

* Assist drivers loading vans and solve any in station issues before dispatch.

* Be able to monitor driver progress on the computer and assist in any on road issues and provide rescues to drivers who need assistance or are in danger of not completing their route in a timely or safe fashion.

* Be able to understand metric based system Amazon uses to grade drivers and be able to explain to drivers which areas need improvement and how to improve in those areas.

*Be able to record data nightly and assess vehicle damage upon return and record all findings in an app.

* Be able to drive a sprinter van in case of emergency or if gas is needed off-site.

* Show up on time and contribute to a positive work enviornment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
