Responsibilities
Dom’s Kitchen & Market
Dishwashers are responsible for washing and sanitizing all food service utensils and miscellaneous items such as plates, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. Also responsible for assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the back of house area. May have additional cleaning duties specific to operations.
You will be:
- Operate dish machine fluently: changing chemicals, taking apart and cleaning.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in sink to clean dishes. Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
- Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.

Qualifications
- Must be able to frequently carry up to 20 lbs. while going up and down stairs during the shift.
- Must be able to stack, walk and move during entire shift including frequent bending and stooping.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time
- Strong sense of team – desire to WIN together with a first-class team!

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Walking/Standing 90% and sitting 10% of day
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas and/or products
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in coolers and freezers
- Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products
- Operating equipment (baler, compactor, six wheeler, power jack)
