Vendr is seeking a Director - SaaS Analyst to help customers find the best software for their use case. In this role, you'll be responsible for helping Vendr make transformational changes in the way companies find and choose SaaS. You will be responsible for working closely with our customers in a data driven, consultative capacity, to find the best product for a given use case. You will join a rapidly growing innovation team focused on moving quickly, learning, and iterating.

What you'll do:

  • Help customers find the right software for the particular use case, within a given category
  • Leverage first hand experience with relevant software to provide feedback and guidance
  • Meet regularly with software vendors to understand key capabilities, differentiators, target ICP, etc
  • Work with our data team to understand the category trends in detail
  • Support internal teams in related capacities
  • Focus on customer happiness, measured by their satisfaction with the purchase decision you helped facilitate x months after the roll out
  • Manage relevant internal functional project coordination, planning, prioritization, and alignment
  • Effectively communicate cross-functionally with internal teams around learnings, challenges, and opportunities
  • Establish best practices and guidelines around how we help our customers find and choose the right software for their businesses

What we need:

  • 15+ years of work experience including 5-7 years of functional experience purchasing, deploying, and/or managing relevant software categories.
  • First hand knowledge of key leading software suppliers
  • SaaS experience is required
    • Understand the head of sales, head of marketing, and head of CS personas, what they buy, and why
    • First hand experience in go to market software a must - this includes purchasing, deploying and/or managing relevant software in sales, marketing, and CS categories.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results working cross-functionally
  • Strong work ethic with a "get stuff done" mentality
  • Problem solver, strong attention to detail, extremely organized
  • Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible, agile, and adaptable; used to wearing multiple hats; does not get easily overwhelmed
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives
