We are currently seeking a Director, Regional Operations to support our pharmacy operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight of operations across the designated region, directing the efforts of pharmacy managers and pharmacy operations;
  • Conveys corporate goals and strategies; Interprets, communicates and ensures compliance with corporate initiatives, policies, procedures and programs;
  • Influences the operating and capital budgets for pharmacy operations; ensures appropriate resource utilization, consistent operations, and scope of services provided; monitors performance against operating plans, and adjustments as necessary and appropriate;
  • Monitors safety and regulatory programs and performance standards; Analyzes reporting documentation and develops solutions to correct substandard results; Promotes uniformity across regions to ensure that organizational objectives are met;
  • Collaborates with VP, Sales & Operations, pharmacy managers and sales directors to ensure retention of existing customer base;
  • Ensures implementation of service standards; monitoring customer relations, service quality and recovery efforts within pharmacy operations;
  • Provides leadership in the development of pharmacy programs vision and strategy for the region, including the establishment of organizationally-aligned performance goals, timelines and outcome measures; responsible for prioritizing and adjusting the strategic plan and initiatives in response to organizational, regulatory or market driven imperatives;
  • Seeks out, promotes and facilitates the rapid adoption and assimilation of best practices and innovations in service, work methods, technology, and operational systems which improve pharmacy service, quality and productivity in the regions;
  • Provides executive leadership and direction to assure compliance with Pharmacy law, regulations, pharmacy business practices, accreditation standards, financial controls and other Jubilant Radiopharma policies;
  • Determines current and future operations staffing levels; provides leadership in interviewing, selection and development of direct and support team; Evaluates performance and provide counseling and coaching to team members;
  • Participates in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned;

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy preferred; Board certification in nuclear pharmacy (BCNP) preferred;
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in managing pharmacy operations at the area / regional level, with team of 5-15 direct reports;
  • Must be able to successfully pass company’s background check and pre-employment drug test;
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license, also required;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating team members and meeting performance goals in a pharmacy environment;
  • Demonstrated strength in customer relationship management / recovery;
  • Experience in budget development, management and profit and loss analysis;
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both technical and interpersonal;
  • Highly organized and very effective time management skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to negotiate and defuse conflict;
  • Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative;
  • Customer focused; team oriented;
