About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Technology Alliances who will be responsible for the management, execution, and expansion of our products. The primary accountability is development of strategies and relationship expansion to grow revenue and market presence. This role is focused on new technology channels and managing existing relationships with Key2Act’s technology/ISV partners. We will be focused on partnering with businesses that provide solutions in the advance field services space.

This role is responsible for developing growth and retention strategies, determine new product placement opportunities, identify, and perform due diligence on potential new national or regional partners, collaborate across the organization, and seek opportunities to broaden and deepen national relationships. In addition, the role is responsible for strengthening and broadening existing partner relationships and identifying efficiency and technology alignment opportunities.

The Director of Technology Alliances cooperates with new partners and Key2Act’s development team to identify areas of opportunity to enhance and improve our offering. Job duties will include supporting Key2Act’s key sales initiatives and growth goals through cultivating and maintaining strategic technology partners. This position is focused on developing and leading high visibility, high impact partnerships which drive revenue for Key2Act. The Director of Technology Alliances will report directly to the EVP of Sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with the EVP of Sales to identify desired partnership targets and secure the new relationships and manage deal flow
  • Directly impact the growth of Key2Acts core business by driving and managing channel partner relationships
  • Recruit and approach key strategic partners while setting defined short-term and long-term channel strategies
  • Lead joint Key2Act Global/Partner teams with initiatives in support of revenue-generating activities
  • Create and maintain relationships among business partners to develop strategies to increase revenue for their companies while building the brand through marketing and events
  • Define and commit to building a partnership program through contracts, reviews, and accountability
  • Grow existing alliances to create additional cross-selling opportunities
  • Liaise with partners to provide education and collaboration between organizations while firmly establishing relationships between partners
  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
  • Report and monitor provider performance through the creation of dashboards to identify performance trends
  • Manage cross-functional groups within the partnership including sales, marketing and operations to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership
  • Work with Key2Act’s Technology Partners to identify opportunities for co-development, co-marketing and/or go-to-market opportunities

  • Team up with Customer Success to deliver partner enablement and maximize partners success in delivering a world-class experience to customers
  • Team up with Marketing to deliver necessary positioning, collateral, and campaigns
  • Team up with Sales to deliver high quality sales enablement, training and support related to joint-selling partnerships
  • Oversee partner enablement to ensure partners are properly trained and motivated to sell and deliver
  • Work with partners to develop business plans to achieve revenue commitments, conduct QBRs, and measure performance against pre-established business metrics
  • Direct activities of the segment sales force to grow existing accounts
  • Develop and execute well-defined, revenue-driven programs
  • Supports internal and external teams by facilitating quick and decisive issue resolution; Articulate goals, establish deadlines, monitor progress, and take action to improve outcomes; plan for potential impediments, soliciting support when appropriate
  • Participate directly in the partner sales cycle for key must win opportunities and facilitate co-sell opportunities
  • Will have responsibility for quota attainment and “new logo” partnerships

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years executive sales experience required
  • Experience managing executive-level sales process
  • Experience effectively leading meetings
  • Experience with successful complex negotiations for long-term relationship management
  • Experience collaborating with internal or external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of complex contract negotiations
