Spearhead Corporate Sustainability functions at rePurpose Global to develop the world’s foremost one-stop shop for the CPG industry to measure their plastic footprint and reduce plastic waste through effective actions.
As a rapidly growing, VC-backed social enterprise, we are seeking a Corporate Sustainability Director / Director of Sustainability Solutions to co-lead, mentor, and empower the sustainability team at rePurpose Global. In this capacity, you will directly collaborate with Aditya Siroya , Co-Founder & Chief Impact Officer and report to Tamara Nemeroff to drive the team’s strategy across sustainability functions [Research & Analysis, New Product Development, Ecosystem Partnerships].
The role’s success will be viewed as establishing the corporate sustainability team as a strong and effective partner in the business development and customer engagement processes. The role requires developing a robust product innovation pipeline, demonstrating continuous improvement in work processes and customer data analysis, establishing a strong internal research portfolio, and ensuring active partnerships with NGOs, standard developers, industry trade associations and other coalitions active in plastic waste debates.
Responsibilities
- 1️⃣ Develop and lead a team capable of robust product innovation and demonstrate continuous improvement in compliance processes and customer data collection and analysis.
- 2️⃣ Establish 5-10 external partnerships on a global and national stage to build the credibility of rPG among industry sustainability stakeholders.
- 3️⃣ Manage & develop internal processes for sustainability operations, ensuring impact outcomes meet evolving marketplace requirements
- 4️⃣ Manage & develop internal processes for sustainability operations ensuring impact outcomes meeting international standards & certifications
- 5️⃣ Support business development and customer engagements to build trust and credibility of rePurpose Global with CPG brand partners and improve product offers.
In doing so, your goal is to initiate and nurture a product development and delivery organisation that enables the CPG industry to measure its plastic footprint and reduce plastic waste through effective actions.
