Ridgecrest Post Acute is looking for a Director of Rehabilitation to join our team!

Ridgecrest Post Acute is hiring! Located in the heart of Phoenix, join our team today. We offer a generous patient to staff ratio and competitive wages!

We are a 200-bed, VA contracted facility with both private and semi-private rooms. Ridgecrest Post Acute has a 5 Star CMS Rating and a 5 Star Staffing CMA Rating!

We have the following units: Rehab, Long Term Care, 4 Specialized Secured Behavioral Health Units including High Acuity, Dementia and SMI specified units.


Director of Rehabilitation

We have an opening for a Director of Rehab (DOR) (Full Time)

DOR will oversee rehabilitation services at Ridgecrest Post Acute! The Director of Rehab is responsible for successful operations of her/his assigned location(s) - ensuring the highest standard of rehabilitation services is delivered in the most efficient manner while obtaining the best possible outcomes for our patients.

1. Manage a team of therapists and assistants

2. Provide direct patient care on site, and liaison to patients, family members, and support departments to adequately plan for patients needs

3. Monitors the standard of clinical services delivered to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance

4. Ensures the clinical management of the rehab department, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization and patient identification

5. Responsible for the hiring, orientation, development and support of all staff

6. Provides reports, develops and implements programs appropriate for the patient population

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current, OT, PT, SLP License as required in Arizona

2. Minimum of 3 years' direct patient care experience and 1 year management experience preferred

3. Must have good verbal and written communication skills

4. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately

5. Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts

6. Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and general public

7. Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff
