Amotec is currently recruiting for Director of Nursing/RN in the Westlake, OH area. These roles are with our client, a leader in the Long Term HealthCare Industry specialize in long term care and various healthcare services such as Wound Care Management, In-house Dialysis, Tracheostomy Care, and Ventilator services.

Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of nursing staff and schedule.
• Developing short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAP's and triggers.
• Quality compliance with Strong background in clinical compliance, medical record review, and documentation, including understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Establishing new policies and updating existing policies to improve the standard of care for patients.
• Planning and overseeing admission, nursing, and patient care processes and assessments.
• Maintaining department budgets and recording all expenses.
• Responding to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with medical staff and other departments to ensure efficiency.
• Review nurses' notes to ensure proper documentation is maintained relating to the resident's treatment, medications, and conditions, to include making daily rounds for observation of the care of residents.
• Overseeing all record-keeping processes and ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Hiring and training new nursing staff members.
• Evaluating staff performance and preparing accurate reports detailing your findings.
• Dialysis and ventilator center experience a plus.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse RN with over a years' experience in nurse leadership of a long-term care setting as an ADON or DON.
• Aptitude for problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Point click care experience preferred.
• Covid Vaccine required upon hiring.
