Director of Nursing
The Director of Nursing for Community Health Centers is responsible for the development of nursing policies, quality improvement efforts, the coordination of staffing and professional development for the nursing and support staff of the community health centers (CHCs) of Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. Duties include, but are not limited to managing the clinical nurses and medical assistants of the CHCs who are responsible for the day-to-day functions of the nursing and clinical support staff by: facilitating and managing problem solving; staffing; designing and implementing professional development plans/programs; project management of strategic goals and objectives, leading the practice transformation for patient centered medical home and standardizing the practice across the health centers.
*Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or approved exemption must be presented prior to beginning work with Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. Full vaccination is receipt of both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Minimum Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements
- LPN (RN Preferred) with 2 Days Clinical
- Five years’ experience in clinical nursing
- 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literacy
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- MSN
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Current SC Nursing License
- CPR (or receipt of certification within 3 months of hire)
Substitutions for Skills, Experience and Education
- BSN and ten years of direct nursing care
- AA and ten years of direct nursing care
- 5 Years in health care management

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
