Charlwell House, Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) leads and oversees our Nursing Department. The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) develops a collaborative and efficient workplace with specific attention to quality resident care. The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) performs a range of duties, including maintaining the Nursing Department, setting long-term goals, and overseeing record-keeping processes. We are now under new management.
Supervisory Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory nursing experience in a setting serving the same aging population
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirement
- Able to supervise, instruct and motivate others
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in independent functioning and strong leadership
License:
- Valid license as a Register Nurse in the state of practice
- Valid CPR license
