STATUS: Full Time

Position Summary:

This position will oversee non-undergraduate LFSB programs including all three graduate programs and program offerings for regional organizations, professional development programs, outreach programs, and events designed to enhance the profile of the LFSB with external constituents. This individual is responsible for guiding our graduate programs utilizing strategic vision, effective administrative capabilities, and an outstanding level of service to our students, faculty, alumni, and external constituencies. This individual also will develop, design, and deliver LFSB programs utilizing our faculty and partners to both increase revenue streams and LFSB external reputation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for the Master of Business Administration program and all graduate programs.
  • Coordinate marketing and recruitment efforts designed to attract and retain qualified new graduate students.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the graduate program, interfacing with and supporting potential and current students, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly review and suggest revisions for the program curriculum and policies.
  • Review and rule on academic appeals.
  • Plan and organize special events.
  • Oversee special projects for the Dean’s Office.
  • Maintain the Business School Graduate Programs website
  • Assist in the production of required accreditation reports for ACBSP and SACSCOC accreditations and annual university assessment reports.
  • Develop relationships with corporate and institutional administrators within the region to seek prospective students, placement, partnerships, co-sponsored events, and professional development programs for revenue.
  • Teach two (2) courses annually.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA, FERPA and other state and federal mandates.

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree required, preferably in the area of business
  • Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty and other university constituents, and to recognize trends and opportunities in business education, in order to build and administrate an academic program
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms
  • Familiarity with utilizing/administering social media platforms
  • Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public.
  • Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet set deadlines
  • Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours and/or occasional travel; including overnight stays.
