POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's Degree in Mental Health, BSN, or master's level licensed Therapist
Experience: Five years of experience working in Behavioral Health/Addiction Medicine. Must possess an understanding of the nature of the disease concept and recovery that has been demonstrated through progressively increased responsibilities in the healthcare industry. Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role and demonstrated abilities to mentor and develop staff.

License: Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LP) per state of practice guidelines.

Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Connections Wellness
Group, LLC policy, and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Oversees the daily operations of the program to include: Medical elements of the program including detoxification, monitoring of medications, vital signs, and documentation; and clinical elements of the program including counseling sessions, group sessions, documentation, meal planning, and outside activities; and operations elements of the program including transportation, housekeeping, food service, and maintenance. Oversees location leadership to include the areas of clinical programming, medical service and care, operations management, and administrative/support services. Ensures program financial viability thorough review of revenue and cost control mechanisms. Responsible for achieving targeted key metrics for the facility and organization established by HQ/Executive Leadership Team. Actively participates as a member of the treatment team in a collaborative manner to provide the best treatment for clients. Overall responsibility for state licensing compliance by ensuring program and facility compliance, and employment record compliance. Engage with the community to foster strong local relationships. Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, positive energy, and compassionate support for patients, peers, and oneself.

Collaborate with other departments, teams, and stakeholders, including:

Treatment teams.
Local- and Senior-Leadership Teams.
Business development teams
Medical Director, Medical and Psychiatric Providers
Nursing Department.
Patient families.
Local hospitals and providers
Utilization review team and insurance companies
Local colleges and universities
Professional organizations
Improve and oversee processes related to:
Admissions and intake
Assessments and referrals
Treatment and aftercare planning
Documentation expectations
Training and competency checks
Maintain department budget and manage expenses
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exhibit basic computer skills including, but not limited to:
Microsoft Office
Email Correspondence
Electronic Medical Record System
KIPU EMR & CRM, Simple Practice
Exhibit good judgment in briefly assessing client needs and referring to appropriate providers/programs (i.e., referring for PHP/IOP screenings, referring to providers with certain specialties, etc.).
Knowledge of facility policies and procedures.
5. Ability to use good judgment and keep the information confidential.
6. Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency.
