Job description

Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, the K-12 Director promotes student success through professional knowledge of education theories, principles, procedures and practices. Skilled in group leadership, the Director has the major responsibility of supervising the K-12 Education Support Program, ensuring student success, provide preventaive and responsive services, and respond to identified dtudent needs by implementing a comprehensive educational support program. The Director will be the resource poerson for schools, and will work with parents as needed. In addition, the Director will coordinate services with appropriate tribal departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education or related field with minimum of three (3) years of past working experience specific to K-12 Education.

Working knowledge of preparation and administration of grants.

Working knowledge of program management including budgeting, supervision, monitoring, and service delivery functions.

Working knowledge of the economics, cultural, social, and general characteristics of American Indians.

Maintains standard for clear background check

Valid drivers license, and current First Aid and CPR certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,359.00 per year
