Job description

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Operating directional drill locating equipment and product support equipment
• Safely operates drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
• Reads utility, locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities
• Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
• Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
• Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
• Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
• May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Arcata, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Directional Drill Locating: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
