We are seeking that special someone who is willing and motivated to assist a young woman with mild intellectual disabilities to be involved with her community and local activities. This is a position for someone with a positive attitude who is patient, kind, and enjoys being a friend! This individual enjoys outdoor activities, along with trips to museums, shopping, and going out to eat.

No certifications are required, however, experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism is a definite plus. *This position involves assisting with taking care of hygiene and toileting* Staff must assist with this to address goal of self-care.

You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel with the client.

This position is currently listed for 5 hours a week with the potential for 8 more hours a week. The 5 hours are for every other Saturday (12pm-5pm) with the additional hours being split 4 hours on Monday (4pm-8pm) and 4 hours on Thursday (4pm-8pm).

This position is located within the individual's home and surrounding community of Lehigh County in PA.

Competitive pay will be offered, with rate based upon experience and/or those qualities listed above.

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

• Every other Saturday - Day shift
• Potential Monday and Thursday – Evening Shift 4pm-8pm
