Responsibilities:
Dining Services Team Member - PRN
Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a PRN Dining Services Team Member. We offer competitive pay and schedules that consist of 10-hour shifts. (PRN scheduled days will vary.)

Our Dining Services Team is responsible for:
  • Daily preparation and presentation of all Turning Point meals.
  • Reviewing menus and dietary orders daily to ensure patients receive proper diets as ordered by Physicians and/or Dietitian.
  • Assists supervisor in the handling and ordering of food inventory and supplies.
  • Preparing meals in accordance with Turning Point's approved menus, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhering to state and federal food service guidelines.
  • Working as a member of the Dining Services Team to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing dining environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants meet the following requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. (ServSafe certification is desirable.)
  • Experience with food preparation techniques in a medical facility and/or commercial kitchen preferred.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and manuals.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function; reliable transportation is required.
  • The position works on an as-needed basis and could be scheduled to work weekends and holidays.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served 7 days a week at our facilities.
