Job Description


Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics including email marketing and website content for the Limelight Hotels. This role will collaborate with the Limelight Hotels marketing team and The Little Nell & Aspen Skiing Company marketing + digital teams to ensure that digital experience executions are aligned with channel marketing executions. This role will manage the build of a new website for the Limelight Hotels, working directly with the developers and content. This role gathers use data to function as the ‘voice’ of the guest within the hotel marketing team, providing information on digital experience gaps in order to innovate and improve our digital touchpoints and increase online conversation rates.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manage email marketing efforts for the Limelight Hotels, including strategy, planning and calendar, responsive design, segmentation and list management, deployment and scheduling, tracking, testing and reporting
  • Develop email strategy for brand, promotions, campaigns, guest communication, guest prospecting (Revinate) and all ancillary businesses
  • Develop and manage all digital customer communications for Limelight Hotels
  • Manage all website updates, including content updates & image updates as well as seasonal updates
  • Collaborate with digital teams to ensure content and strategy alignment
  • Manages content production and updates for third-party websites including Google business pages, travel advisor websites, community calendars, Vimeo / Youtube, Bing, Yelp, Expedia, TripAdvisor, etc.
  • Manage on going website development and improvements
  • Manage the on going Search Engine Optimization
  • Provide content production assistance on branded sites as needed to support Limelight brand / property initiatives
  • Manage the booking engine, it’s presentation and customer journey, including SynXis and AZDS
  • Work with Aspen Skiing Company marketing team on possible collaboration initiatives across brands / platforms
  • Manage questions within Medallia, our post departure survey program
  • Create comprehensive on-site performance and ecommerce monthly reports, implement cohesive cross-platform tracking
  • Report and analyze site traffic, links, rankings and conversions
  • Create and implement a plan to discover and deliver insights on how consumers navigate, engage and convert within and across our digital platforms
  • Be the expert voice for all our experience analytics tools
  • Develop and implement testing and optimization plans to evaluate campaigns, including A/B testing on various channels
  • Develop, implement and oversee cross-channel campaign tracking, reporting and measurement plan
  • Provide campaign results, reporting and actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from the reservations team to inform strategic improvements to the digital experience
  • Manage all new builds of new property sections / webpages as new properties come on board

This role typically pays around $65,000, actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, and all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.


Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree required with preferred emphasis in digital marketing
  • 2+ years of experience interfacing with technology & product teams required
  • 5+ years of experience with digital marketing in a related field required
  • High level of experience with the following technical skills: web development, web content management systems (Sitecore preferred), basic HTML coding, Photoshop, SEO /SEM management, Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.
  • Experience with mobile web presentation theory and responsive design methodologies
  • Strong knowledge and background in PPC, social media, email, and other digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to measure the ROI of marketing campaigns, and recommend re-alignment of campaigns if and as necessary
  • Experience managing multiple large and complex projects from initial planning stages through conception, design, execution, delivery, and ongoing support

Supervision Given and Received

Supervision Given: This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
Supervision Received: Works under general supervision of the Director of Marketing. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
  • No adverse or hazardous conditions
  • Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
