Stouse, LLC is a market leading specialty printer, packaging and label converter offering an extensive product line of decals, magnets, labels, signs, plastics, folding cartons and custom products. Our headquarters and largest manufacturing facility are in the greater Kansas City area, and we have divisions in Portland, Oregon (Craftsman Label) and Burlington, Vermont (Creative Labels of Vermont). The company has a nearly half century history and track record of profitable sales growth. Presently, Stouse is undergoing a transformation to a technology enabled packaging converter and label printer with multiple e-commerce platforms. Significant capital investment has been made to create a paperless digital workflow, enabling speed and significant cost reduction.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative and innovative developer to join our development team to help us deliver even more rapidly. This role requires someone with experience and a passion for building easy to use, rock-solid, and high-performing applications to streamline processes, automate tasks, and provide reliable data to decision makers. They must be love leveraging cloud-based solutions and pushing to be cutting-edge in everything they deliver. Sponsorship is not available.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Work directly with Business stakeholders to understand their wants and needs then develop innovative web-based systems and solutions
• Professionally and skillfully design/build well planned and easy-to-use web-based systems/applications
• Build APIs and/or integrate both custom and off-the-shelf systems
• Partner with other members of the development team for code-reviews, QA, and performance testing
• Meticulous about ensuring changes cause no issues/errors through robust use of QA/testing
• Drive to independently research, adapt, and stay up to date on industry trends

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of a variety of platforms/languages including .NET, React, Angular
• Demonstrated SQL skills
• Experience leveraging cloud-based systems/infrastructure (such as Azure or AWS)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related field preferred
• 2-4 years of related development experience
• Proven track record of the ability to overcome hurtles/obstacles and effectively meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
