Job description
ROLE
- Lead a team of controls designers to conceive and produce practical controls designs for our diverse customers
- Provide leadership, mentorship, technical assistance, and training to intermediate and junior controls designers
- Approve controls designs, both hardware, and software, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
- Provide leadership and decision-making for project-related design/engineering changes, in conjunction with controls engineering manager and other department managers
- Manage budgets and timing to ensure adherence to plans and report progress
- Oversee the design release process
- Provide installation supervision or service of equipment on the customer floor after delivery
