Tots to Teens Pediatric Denistry is looking for a payment processor. Our payment processor/poster enters daily payments received from the insurance carriers into the patient's charts accurately and within the timeframe set by the company. This includes EFT, Check and Credit Card payments. Responsibilities include…

· Entering all pediatric dental and orthodontic payments accurately into the practice management software system.

· Using insurance portals to obtain Explanation of Benefits

· Reconciling payments and bank deposits daily

· Recording reason for patient balances and/or credits

· Communicating errors and denials to other departments, practice managers, supervisor, and owner.

· Maintaining a spreadsheet of denials and overpayments

· Submitting daily, weekly, monthly reports as assigned

· Notifying supervisor of any payment trends, denials,or errors

· Resubmitting simple denial errors.

· Assisting the Billing Coordinators as needed.

· Requesting or making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

· Be self-managed, goal and detail oriented with the initiative to learn and grow.

· Have an accountable team spirit to work as a team

· Have a sense of responsibility

· Be able to type and know 10 - key

· Be computer literate with emails, Microsoft Word, and Excel

· Experience with PPO and Medicaid guidelines

Previous dental and posting experience is preferred.

Knowledgeable with Insurance, and orthodontic terms and guidelines would make you a stronger candidate.

Salary will depend on experience.

Willing to train the right candidate.
