We are looking for a patient care / insurance coordinator to welcome patients, answer the phone and schedule appointments and. PREFERABLY BILINGUAL- VIETNAMESE OR SPANISH. You will assist dental patients with billing and insurance issues and offer customer care. As a patient care coordinator, you will coordinate appointments to meet the schedule of our dental professionals. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to handle incoming calls and walk-in customers with a smile. Ideally, you are organized, customer-oriented and detail oriented. As our patient care coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining updated patient records.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a friendly manner and welcome them to the practice.
• Obtain and confirm patient’s personal and insurance information.
• Record patient’s details such as name, address, contact number and demographic data in computer database/chart.
• Introduce patients to dental practitioners and assist them to prepare for procedures.
• Handle incoming telephone calls, screen patients’ appointments and answer general questions.
• Communicate with insurance companies to check eligibility, co-payments and coverage of dental services.
• Schedule appointments, send reminders and confirmations by email or phone.
• Process payments via cash, check or credit card., assist patients with billing questions;.
• Handle referrals to the laboratory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
