Seeking Highly Professional Full and/or Part Time Dental Assistant

Our busy dental practice in Monee is seeking a friendly, motivated, well-organized, reliable and efficient Dental Assistant. Dental experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Dental Assistants work side-by-side with the dentist in the treatment of patients. Assistants hand instruments to the dentist (select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed); take radiographs and photos; maintain dental equipment; maintain infection control and sterilization; and perform clinical procedures delegated by the dentist. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: prepare treatment rooms (materials, instruments, etc.); prepare patients for dental procedures; sterilization of instruments and treatment area in a timely and efficient manner; take X-rays and intra--oral photos; perform laboratory tasks (pouring models and fabricating whitening trays); document dental care services by charting in patient records; schedule appointments and be aware of schedule changes, and other procedures’ progress in order to prioritize actions; maintain safe and clean environments by adhering to infection control policies; maintain dental supplies inventory. Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus.

Ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be computer proficient (knowledge of Eaglesoft software preferred), be organized, and possess attention to detail.

Pay based on experience. 401K and employee discount for dental work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
