We are growing dental practice looking for top talent to join our team! The right person will be a hardworking, compassionate, team player looking to help us expand the practice while continuing to serve our community with all their dental needs. We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant who believes in delivering exceptional patient care and building relationships with their patients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Set up each room with instruments, equipment, and materials needed
• Record and review patient medical histories
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Provide clinical services or health education to improve the health of patients
• Keep dental rooms cleaned and well stocked
• Take X-rays or dental impressions
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies

Skills:

• Proven experience as Dental Assistant or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Great chairside manner with a gentle touch
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Work well under pressure with good time management skills
• Outstanding communication skills- both written and verbal
• X-ray license and CPR certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Township of Brick, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
