Falcon Express Transportation, Inc. is looking to contract 7 experienced owner operators to provide delivery services with their own cargo vans.

These positions are due to growth and a very special opportunity that will begin on Monday, January 23, 2022 as we begin to service a new customer located in Landover, Maryland. Deliveries will consist of larger food boxes that are primarily delivered to private residences.

Shifts will run Saturday through Tuesday with a start time of 7:30 am. A typical route will run 10 hours. There is a 78 stop minimum per day and a $273 daily pay minimum. Additional stops above the 78 minimum will pay at $3.50 per stop. The delivery area consists of Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. All routes start in Landover, MD but will only be required to return to Landover if there are packages that need to be returned.

If interested, additional cargo van work can be available on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from Falcon's dock in Beltsville. Different rates will apply.

Driver Requirements:

• Must hold a valid drivers' license with a safe driving record looking back for 3 years. Moving violations such as DUI/DWI, reckless driving, speeding 20 miles or more over the posted speed limit, frequent convictions for speeding and other serious driving infractions during the 3 year look back, are grounds for disqualification.
• Prior experience delivering in a high volume distribution situation such as Amazon, FedEx, etc. is trongly preferred.
• Must have a professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to work all 4 days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
• Must be willing to deliver to all service areas.
• Must be willing to submit to background screening.

Van Requirements:

• Must be a full size cargo or sprinter van. As an example, No Transit Connect or Connect XL.
• Minimal van dimensions: body length 219.9" and body length 81.3"
• Model year must be 2015 or newer.
• Vehicle must be properly maintained with no visible signs of disrepair or neglect.
• Van must be properly registered and insured.
