Warehouse & Delivery Driver
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver candidate to pull orders, palletize, and distribute orders promptly to our customers. The Warehouse Worker & Delivery Driver position is a full-time position which includes working in our warehouse coolers and freezers (inventory, organization, upkeep) as well as driving our box van or refer truck to deliver orders to our customers throughout the Spokane/CDA area.
As an Angus Meats' Warehouse Worker & Delivery Driver, you will represent our company in a professional manner and conduct your duties in a cost-effective way to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Wage DOE and can be discussed in interview. **THIS IS A NON-CDL position**
Responsibilities
- Pick and palletize orders
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Drive company van or box truck to deliver product to addresses across Airway Heights, Spokane, Post Falls, Liberty Lake, and CDA
- Follow pre-specified routes and deliver orders according to a pre-determined time schedule
- Collect payments
- Nurture the buyer/supplier relationship with our customers using polite and friendly customer service
- Complete driving logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Help clean and organize warehouse
- Receive and put away supplies
Position Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Can lift 80-lbs on a regular basis
- Must know how to navigate Spokane/CDA area well, without relying a map*
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school degree OR equivalent
- Able to withstand cold temperatures
- Positive "can-do" attitude
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new things
Skills (preferred)
- Experience in food-service
- Warehouse experience
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
