AECOM is hiring immediately Debris Monitoring Inspectors in West Florida. Hourly rate from $18 to $25 an hour based upon experience. Due to Hurricane Ian, we are currently accepting applications from individuals interested in available AECOM positions for hurricane recovery services. As a debris monitoring inspector, you will be part of the hurricane recovery clean-up.

Responsibilities:

• Document loading and unloading of hurricane debris onto trucks
• Accurately observe material loading operations to assess compliance with set material sorting standards

Minimum Requirements :

• High School Diploma
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a personal cell phone.

Preferred Qualifications :

• No previous experience in debris monitoring is required, but knowledge of technology and report-writing skills are strongly preferred.

Additional information:

• Will work outdoors in hazardous areas and in the proximity of heavy machinery such as dump trucks and debris loading equipment.
• Working hours may range from 10-14 hours per day, potentially seven days a week.
• Training and safety equipment will be provided to those who meet qualifications.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Capable of working outside in a hazardous environment, around heavy equipment and standing on your feet for long periods of time.
• Long pants and work boots required (other safety equipment provided by AECOM).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
