Job description
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor (for non-schedule A positions) or with the Department of Homeland Security (for Schedule A positions). This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 consecutive business days, ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.

Responsible for maintaining and improving CTDI’s databases; primarily Oracle; Deploy, configure, and tune Oracle databases running on Linux servers; Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager to create appropriate alerts and provide insights into database performance; Create and maintain scripts to automate common tasks; Evaluate existing infrastructure and emerging technologies to create roadmaps; Plan and execute upgrades and migrations as required; Manage other Database Administrators to coordinate work on all systems; Update documentation of systems; Work with business and development teams to create new solutions for emerging business lines; Evaluate and tune database queries; Create, configure, and maintain AWS Aurora Postgres databases; and present to business leaders and customers.

Option to work from home is partially available. Salary range: $110,219.00 - $159,000.00. Please send c.v. to sschreck@ctdi.com.

Required Skills

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Strong experience with managing Database Admins; Expert proficiency in Oracle 19c; Strong background in tuning SQL and writing PL/SQL; Experience with other database systems such as Amazon RDS, Postgres, and SQL Server; Knowledge of common scripting languages; Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Word; and Strong experience with planning and delivering strategic and compelling presentations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and at least seven (7) years of experience as a Database Manager or related occupation.
