KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst.

The position is responsible for the compiling, analysis and presentation of data used to drive efficiencies and decision making in the Client Shared Services Organization. Using advanced data techniques and Power BI, this individual will provide business intelligence to leaders in a global landscape.

Responsibilities

• Technical competence to autonomously build out powerful analytics: deep experience with analytics and data design (SQL) as well as visualization tools (Power BI) preferred.
• Monitor daily metrics, program performance, identify anomalies and red flags and communicate to the appropriate team members.
• Utilize a strong business acumen: deep knowledge of how to design KPIs, diagnostic metrics and benchmarks, including how to set effective targets to drive optimal outcomes.
• Evaluate internal processes, provide recommendations using lean methodologies, document agreed upon solutions, and implement new workflows.
• Analyze and direct fulfillment data to proper billing models in our internal proprietary middleware ensuring accurate monthly revenue.
• Using SQL evaluate revenue automation and adjust to changing business requirements.
• Provide analytical support to business partners while highlighting findings with measurable solutions.
• Reconcile monthly variances, analyze data, and present root cause analysis to leadership.
• Complete monthly reconciliations to ensure revenue is correctly captured.
• Develop and deliver standardized & ad hoc reporting to internal and external clients.
• Liaison with other departmental teams to ensure accuracy of deliverables and facilitate an exceptional client experience through project completion.
• Knowledge of internal business systems and the operational source systems where metrics are derived.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or a related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and a preference for experience with other scripting languages like Python, R, vb.net, etc.
• Power BI or similar data visualization software experience required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively and adeptly communicate (verbally and in writing) both internally and externally to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence.
• Knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and work on a tight timeframe.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing reporting needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), ERP system experience.
• Detail oriented with ability to translate data analysis efforts into actionable insights.
• Ability to establish trust and strong working relationships with business partners.
