Job Purpose:

The main focus is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. Assist with other materials duties as directed by supervisor.

Education / Training:

High School Diploma required, Associate's or greater highly preferred

• 2+ years of proven Inventory experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Job Title:

Cycle Counting Clerk

Key Job Elements:

Perform Cycle Counts & re-counts of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials daily as required

• Document cycle counts and physical inventory counts in programs such as excel, word, LN based ERP program

• Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark product displaying the remaining product left

• Maintain production identification and location program

• Investigate and correct discrepancies

• Audits the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management

• Identify root cause for issues and make recommendations for improvement

• Assist shipping and receiving, including receipt and verification of inbound items vs. packing slip or BOL

• Occasionally operate forklift or other machinery as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency using MS Office is required

• Must be able to pass forklift license test

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs

• You are meticulously detail-oriented and take pride in your accuracy

• You have an analytical mind and understand the importance inventory has on a company

• You are comfortable with working in an ever-changing and a fast-paced environment
