Summary:

Nisga’a Tek is looking for a Cyber Transport Systems Specialist.

Essential Job Functions:

• Focus on sustainment of the network and telecommunication infrastructure, distribution media, cryptographic equipment and associated devices.
• Support includes but is not limited to the communications and network systems architecture, video distribution and long-haul communications system, and enhancement support for the RPA-SOC enterprise.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Capable of demonstrating, with advanced knowledge, how critical Full Motion Video (FMV) systems (encoders and hardware) generate and deliver data through existing IP based transfer, Multi-service Provider Platform (MSPP), Router, and other Optical Carrier (OC) based networks.
• Possess the skills required to identify, recon, and exploit vulnerabilities within a network environment to achieve desired affects.
• Possess a solid understanding of network technologies, protocols, and standards required to integrate and sustain airborne and terrestrial information transport systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience or more administering infrastructure support to mainframe and or client server systems and/or DoD systems.
• 5 years’ experience on any one or more of these systems; SAN Storage, Server Blade, SQL, SharePoint, C2ISR video data, network performance software, firewalls.
• Possess at least one of the following certifications: VMware (VCA), CCNA, and applicable Windows certification.
• It is imperative that the exact certifications are utilized. (i.e. VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.0 and higher] is not equivalent to VMware VCA and MTA certificates other than server types are not sufficient).
• 8570 certified.
• An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operational aircrew experience is desirable.
• An ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance preferred.
• Associates Degree Preferred.
