What You'll Do

As Analyst, Governance Risk & Compliance, you'll be part of our global IT team located virtually. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), within the Cyber Security Office (CSO). This role will help support the GRC Program including implementation of an Integrated Risk Management solution and processes for SBD. This person will work within the GRC team and partners across the enterprise to ensure all aspects of governance, risk and compliance are documented and operating effectively.

You'll get to:
  • Support identification of cyber risk across SBD, globally, assist with risk analysis, maintain the risk register and document and train procedures and processes to ensure awareness of security controls are maintained
  • Support efforts related to GRC including cyber risk management, vendor risk management, policy exception management, cookie compliance, cyber security training development and delivery, compliance initiatives, review control self-assessments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the CSO GRC function
  • Support the oversight of offshore team members, coordinated disclosure programs, and other GRC programs that support SBD's regulatory obligations
  • Support the development of standards, policies, processes and training materials for the Cyber Security Office program and provide testing and quality assurance for all published documentation related to the CSO program
  • Coordinate with IT projects and Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestiture activities to ensure the inclusion of appropriate controls and processes
  • Ensure CSO metrics and reporting are gathered regularly to upload to communication reports and sites
  • Contribute to cyber risk awareness by researching and submitting cyber 'hot topics' for inclusion in Workplace posts
  • Assist compliance regulatory and audit team with review of test findings and remediation plans, ensuring any compliance issues are escalated as appropriate
  • Become a champion of all things CSO for the end user community

You also have:
  • BS degree in Business, Information Security, Management Information Systems or related major, or equivalent job experience
  • Experience in coordinating work across multiple functions and be adept at building consensus across organizational and functional lines
  • Details orientated, with a bias for accuracy and quality
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other GRC tool desired but not preferred
  • Ability to communicate consistently and effectively throughout highly-matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with industry and regulatory frameworks such as SOX, NIST, SOC
  • One plus (1+) years of practical experience in a similar role, IT Audit role or other IT related field a plus
