The Cybersecurity Automation Engineer will work on a team that provides cutting-edge, innovative, and validated automations to the Security Operations Center of NDIT. Working towards creating an efficient and world leading security team.
The Cybersecurity Automation Engineer must be a self-motivated individual who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment with cutting edge technology. This position primarily designs, develops, tests, and implements systems to automate security operations, assists in tracking key performance indicators, protects the enterprise network, and detects malicious actors.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the criteria of at least one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, cybersecurity, information technology, or related degree, and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or working with programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Associate degree in computer science, computer information systems, cybersecurity, information technology, or related degree and two years of current and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or working with programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Four years of current and progressive work experience within a cybersecurity role or working with programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Completion of a certified cybersecurity bootcamp, apprenticeship or 9+ month cybersecurity certification program, or an equivalent program in a related field.
